Period2025 – Ongoing | Semi-Annual Monitoring
Tracking environmental performance through consistent, field-based monitoring.
Project Overview
AVARI provides periodic environmental monitoring services for Tinfos Hydropower Solutions’ Mini Hydropower Plant (PLTM) operations in Lebak, Banten. Conducted on a semi-annual basis since 2025, the monitoring program evaluates environmental and socio-economic conditions surrounding the project area to support environmental compliance, track changes over time, and provide an evidence-based foundation for ongoing environmental management.
Our Approach
- Ambient Air Quality Monitoring — periodic measurement and evaluation of ambient air quality at representative monitoring locations around the project area.
- Water Quality Monitoring — sampling and analysis of relevant water quality parameters to evaluate environmental conditions associated with hydropower operations and surrounding water bodies.
- Socio-Economic Monitoring — assessment of socio-economic conditions and community perceptions to identify changes, concerns, and interactions between project operations and surrounding communities.
- Environmental Performance Evaluation — integration and evaluation of monitoring results to identify environmental trends, potential changes, and issues requiring management attention.
- Environmental Management & Monitoring Review — assessment of monitoring findings against applicable environmental management and monitoring commitments to support continuous improvement and environmental compliance.
- Periodic Environmental Reporting — preparation of semi-annual monitoring results and environmental performance documentation to support regulatory and management requirements.
Project Outcome
The ongoing monitoring program provides Tinfos Hydropower Solutions with a consistent environmental performance record across successive monitoring periods. By integrating environmental quality measurements with socio-economic observations, the program supports early identification of changes, evaluation of management effectiveness, regulatory compliance, and adaptive environmental management throughout the operational phase.
