Understanding water conditions to support responsible land and area development.

Project Overview
AVARI conducted a water quality assessment for EIGER LAND in the Megamendung area of Bogor, West Java. The study was undertaken to characterize water quality conditions within and around the project area and provide an evidence-based understanding of the local aquatic environment. The assessment supports environmental planning and management by establishing reliable information on existing water conditions and identifying environmental considerations relevant to the development and management of the area.

Our Approach

  • Water Quality Survey & Sampling — conducted field observations and water sampling at representative locations to characterize water quality conditions across the study area.
  • Laboratory Analysis — analyzed relevant water quality parameters to establish the physical, chemical, and biological characteristics of sampled water.
  • Water Quality Evaluation — evaluated analytical results to understand existing water conditions, spatial variations, and relevant environmental issues within the study area.
  • Environmental Context Analysis — interpreted water quality conditions in relation to surrounding land use, activities, and other environmental characteristics relevant to the EIGER LAND area.
  • Management Recommendations — developed technical considerations and recommendations to support water quality management and environmentally responsible development of the area.

Project Outcome
The study provided EIGER LAND with an evidence-based understanding of water quality conditions within the project area and its surroundings. The findings established a technical basis for identifying key water-related environmental considerations and supporting appropriate environmental management measures as part of the responsible development and management of the area.
